The Roaring Fork Schools is administering a survey for parents starting Monday, May 15 until Tuesday, May 30 to gain feedback about your and your child’s experience with your school and the district at large. (Links to participate are below.)

Why a parent survey?

One of our strategic initiatives is to engage families in a way that fosters enhanced communications, creates welcoming school environments, and provides support. We know that the best way to make sure every student in our school succeeds is to build a strong partnership between families, the school, and the community. This parent survey gives you the opportunity to tell us what our school is doing well to support this partnership and what we can do better.

What is the survey about?

Specifically, the questions seek to understand strengths and areas of improvement for:

  • Making families feel welcome in our schools,
  • Communicating effectively,
  • Supporting students’ success and educational rights,
  • Parent input in school and district decisions, and
  • Community collaboration.

The survey questions are aligned with the National Standards for Family-School Partnership Power of Partnerships survey and the Colorado Department of Education Parent Survey.

Individual responses will be anonymous, and feedback will be used by the district and the schools to identify bright spots and needed improvement.

Who should participate?

We are hoping that ALL parents and guardians of Roaring Fork Schools students will take the time to fill out this survey!

How do you participate?

Complete a survey for every school at which you have a child enrolled.

If you’d prefer to take the survey on paper, you can request a copy at the front desk of your student's’ school.

Thank you in advance for your participation!
