The learning acceleration plan has been developed to address the district’s prioritized performance challenges as outlined in the unified improvement plan. The ultimate outcome of the plan is to accelerate learning and achievement for all students, especially closing the difference in achievement between our subgroups. Thus, the learning acceleration plan incorporates existing strategic priorities, research-based strategies, and reflects the district’s identified needs.
Some of this work has already begun, while some of it will require additional resources in order to launch. The additional resources will be funded in part by the $2.6 million at-risk funding from CDE that we received Spring 2022 as well as by grant funding and more efficient use of existing school budgets.
