The Roaring Fork Schools' Transportation Department is committed to providing safe and efficient transportation services for all eligible students while operating in a safe, friendly, supportive, and comfortable environment that supports their educational needs. Students are provided with transportation to and from their attendance-area school, which covers portions of Garfield, Eagle, Pitkin, and Gunnison counties--from Basalt to Glenwood and No Name to Marble. The transportation team has highly trained, skilled, and experienced commercially licensed drivers operating large capacity buses, minibuses, and other small vehicles. Transportation is also provided for students with special needs and affective needs in unique ways that best support their education. Additionally, extra-curricular transportation is provided for eligible student sports, activities, and group trips
